What this site is
polymarket.health is a fast, independent aggregator of public status information for the major prediction-market platforms — Polymarket, Kalshi, Manifold Markets, PredictIt — plus a handful of adjacent on-chain markets (Limitless, Futuur, Myriad). We exist because checking whether a prediction market is online during a high-stakes event — an election night, a Fed decision, a major sporting fixture — shouldn't require digging through three different vendor status pages and a Discord.
How the status probes work
Every status page in this site runs a small set of browser-side checks against each platform's public REST endpoints (order books, market catalogs, exchange status flags). Probes run from your browser, roughly every 45 seconds while a page is open, and the latency you see is the round trip from your network to the endpoint — not a synthetic monitor in a data centre. This makes the readings genuinely useful for spotting regional or ISP-level degradation, but it also means the numbers are noisier than a commercial monitoring service.
We do not use private API keys, we do not place trades, we do not hold funds, and we do not collect personal data. Historical uptime is logged hourly by an independent worker over a rolling 30-day window; that is the only server-side data we store, and it is aggregate reachability metadata, not user data.
Editorial policy
The Prediction Markets 101 curriculum and the per-platform deep dives are written and maintained by the polymarket.health editorial team. We update lessons when regulation shifts (CFTC actions, court rulings), when a platform launches or migrates infrastructure, and when incidents change the risk profile of a market. Every factual claim in a lesson links to a primary source where one exists.
When we make an error, we correct it. Use the contact page to flag anything out of date and we'll update it and note the change.
How we make money
The site is supported by display advertising and by affiliate links to Kalshi, which are always disclosed with a small ad badge and use rel="sponsored". Affiliate arrangements do not influence which platforms we cover or how we describe them — Polymarket, for example, has no US affiliate programme and gets the same editorial treatment as Kalshi.
